Permanent halloween seasonal event

So I started my game after not playing for almost a year. I logged into an old world of mine to try to get all achievements just for fun. I then needed to do the Frost legion event which I needed to change the time to December for the Christmas event. But that's when I noticed I got Goodie bags and that pumpkins grow everywhere. Whatever time I change it to the world is always in a Halloween event which is kind of annoying. This is a world-specific problem. All my other worlds are normal.

Is there any way to fix this or is my main world just permanently Halloween?
 
Pumpkins will remain grown in your world even after the time for Halloween passes, but if it is no longer Halloween, new pumpkins will no longer grow naturally. Only if you use pumpkin seeds.

In your world, you're still having enemies that drop goodie bags even when it is no longer the halloween time on your computer?

Yes, enemies still dropped goodie bags.

But the problem is resolved I guess, after a few in-game days a natural eclipse started and the Halloween event stopped and I haven't gotten any more goodie bags. Don't really know what happened but it is somehow resolved.

Adjusting the calendar on your device can affect it, try setting it to summer

Yes. I too I'm having the same problem even after waiting for a quite some time. Still have Halloween costume kind of enemies and all that crap and pumpkins everywhere and I'm tired of seeing and pumpkins everywhere and I'm tired of seeing it
 
If your PC date is outside halloween then the halloween should go away 24 minutes after you beat pumpkin moon wave 15.
