PC Crashing On Launch - Windows XP

Gives me an error and closes. I was just playing yesterday.


I remember when 1.2 came out, they had to release a hot fix to disable the map for us XP users because it was messing with the game. Could this be the same?

Heres the error.

Windows XP
2.8 GHz
1 GB Ram
Directx 9.0c

See check it out. When 1.2 dropped people were getting the out of memory error. Red first made a new config file then just put out a patch that fixed it.

I'm hoping its the same map problem and not something bigger.

Just verified game cache and it said I was missing 1 file and it would reacquire that file. Went to load the game, but still the same error.

We need someone to post a config data file that has the map disabled. That should do it.

Same problem! Steam download this file over999 times, but after every verification it's still missing!

I set MapEnabled to False but still getting same error. Seemed like a really easy fix for 1.2, hopefully it's just as easy for 1.3.

I'm having a different crash on Windows XP SP3 when I spawn into a world.

Specifications:

Software:
Windows XP SP3
Terraria 1.3.0.2

Hardware (laptop):
Intel Celeron M 550 2GHz
2GB DDR2
Mobile Intel 965 Express
DirectX 9.0c

Will provide more specs if needed. 1.2.x.x worked fine!

Just released 1.3.0.2 and its now working fine.

My game still doesn't work!
