Blocks & Decoration Paint Patterns!

My idea is paint could be improved on, ALOT. This is because sometimes it just doesn't cut what you want.


Paint Stencils


How these work is they are sold by the painter. Left clicking blocks with them gives the outline of your stencil. Now click the block with a stencil filler (new item) and the stencil is painted! You can have stencils and paint at the same time.

Stencil Filler
Sold by Painter for 1 gold

Fills in stencils with paint.

Line Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold

Creates a line going across the middle.

Star Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (At Night)

Creates a star on the block.

Leaf Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (In Forest)

Creates a leaf on the block.

Crack Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Underground)

Creates cracks on the block.

Fish Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Ocean)

Creates a fish on the block.

Snowflake Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Snow)

Creates a snowflake on the block.

Bee Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Jungle, Queen Bee defeated)

Creates a bee on the block.

Natural Stencil
Sold by the Painter for 1 gold (Dryad has moved in)

Creates either a bunny, tree, bird worm or bee on the block.

Stylish Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Stylist has moved in)

Creates stylish curls on the block.

Cog Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Steampunker has moved in)

Creates cogs on the block.

Mushroom Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Truffle had moved in)

Creates spots on the block.

Sheep Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Has bed in house)

Creates sheep on the block.

Text Stencil
Sold by Painter for 1 gold (Has bookshelf in house)

Creates text on a block.

Could add some interesting options for decor, but it might be tricky to implement.

I'm also not a huge fan of having to haul the painter to each biome in order to unlock more stencils, I would prefer an alternate means of accessing them.

Sorry, but it was mean't to be "you live in this biome, here is a pattern to match your build! I can change it though. Yes, it might be difficult, but it would add tons of options to building.

Well, collectors always get it hard (Bone Key and The Axe). Also, I prefer building to match a biome (Which is my idea).
