I made some new ones for my characters:

Chest: Vortex Chestplate (Solar dye)
Legs: Vortex Leggings (Solar dye)
Wings: Vortex Booster (Burning Hades dye)
No other accessories.

Rune hat, Princess outfit, Bee pants (rarely visible). Currently using Skiph's Blood dye, previously Shadowflame. Accessories use mostly Midnight Rainbow dye. Have to say, Princess outfit makes a nice robe when dyed.

Vortex Booster and Star Veil are just aesthetic. Actually using Solar Wings.

Actual armor is usually Stardust, but I'm currently trying out Nebula.

Alright. It's pretty basic. I have rune set with a beard from the sylist. I also have the charm of myths. My wings are frost wings dyed with burning hades dye. I have hair dye that makes it more teal the faster I go. I think it goes well with a mage, as in my eyes, he's powering up. His mount is a unicorn mount. Can someone suggest how to make this better? I really don't know what to name my first 100% legit OC. ANy ideas? He's a cross between all weapons, but he's starting to prefer a mage setup.

Here's a tip: save old armor and just about any vanity item you find. I currently am using a Titanium Helmet, Spectre Chestplate, and some kind of pants (doesn't matter much). Mix and match, get a feel for what works together. Spiky looking things go well together, robes and hoods/wizard hats work nicely, that kind of thing. Then, I recommend some kind of vanity wings. A few other accessories can be used as vanity too, especially shields. Also, experiment with dyes. Generally two different dye types form a nice semi-two-tone look, like how my above pic uses Skiph's blood for armor and Midnight Rainbow for accessories. Single tone also works well. Similar color dyes can be used as replacements for each other or as a minor effect, such as using a mix of Rainbow and Midnight Rainbow for accessories. And whenever you find dye accessories, grab them. Maybe even make a few dirt bridges to farm Strange Plants. Grass isn't required.

1st: turtle scalemail and fossil leggings; chlorophyte dye, reds wings with chlorophyte dye, spectre hood, no dye

2nd: turtle scalemail and random legs, bright silver dye, gold crown, shield with silver dye.
