Also snowballs are cold and go down the throat cold, while whiskey feels warm going down.

I want to at least get something up, so here's an unshaded version of my entry. I present: the Railgun.
It is to the Chain Gun as the Sniper Rifle is to the Megashark. It wields enormous power, but leaves the user vulnerable for seconds after each use, along with angering/alerting enemies.

I rushed sprite. The Heat Wave Staff!

It's the opposite of the Blizzard Staff. Instead of making icicles fall down from the sky, it makes streams of fire come out of the ground.
