Mobile Terraria Mobile - Amazon Update

So, the update isn't out for Amazon but I can still enter a multiplayer world with my friend who has Amazon, but it then crashes in like half a minute. When Amazon actually gets the update will it work right?
 
Looks like the update went live yesterday for all the remaining non-kindle devices. I can gladly say I was able to play multiplayer with son again last night on my Nexus 6P. @Tunnel King Thank you for helping to track this issue.
 
Awesome to hear! That should hopefully get devices up on Amazon and WP.....
 
Disaster in what way? Which kindle device? Need details guys. :)
 
I bought terraria on my kindle fire hd10 last week, today I tried to play on my character and it popped up saying my character was created on a newer version and wouldn't let me go in. My world was fine, allowing me to go in on a new character.I deleted and then reinstalled(probably not the smartest idea,my world is now gone) it is showing version as 12000 and no updates are available
 
As in "disaster" I mean this...

My friend just got the update on his Kindle but nothing seemed to change. Isn't this update supposed to include the extra save slots?
 
I think there is irony in this. The details in the update said "improved gameplay", meanwile I get the update and it made gameplay worse.

I guess there is too much in terraria for my tablet to handle. Terraria does take up the most space on my tablet

Not hard drive space. RAM. OS. Model number/name, etc.
