Xbox One Jetpack and Hoverboard in Vanity slot, bug?

If you have the Jetpack or the Hoverboard in your vanity slot with other wings equipped you still retain the unique perks of each item. For instance if you have the Jetpack in your vanity slot, you can still take advantage of the vertical boost even with other wings equipped. Is this intended or a bug?

Sounds good! I don't really think this can really break the game.

I'm not sure to be perfectly honest. But it doesn't seem all that game breaking.
