Okay, so, what do you do when it stops installing? Does it slow when it gets close to 60% done? How good of internet do you have?

Sorry, I don't know either. I'm a specialist when it comes to phones, Terraria, and being smart. Not computers.

Can you try these steps for me?
  1. In your Steam library, right click Terraria and click Properties.
  2. Go to the Local Files tab and click Delete Local Game Content (if this button doesn't appear or is grayed out, skip this part).
  3. In the top left corner of your Steam application, click Steam and then Settings. A new window should open up.
  4. In this window, click Downloads in the list to the left.
  5. Under Download Restrictions, make sure 'Limit bandwith to' is set to 'No limit'.
  6. Then click the Clear Download Cache button at the bottom. A window will open asking for your confirmation. Press OK.
  7. After you log in again, try and download Terraria again.
If this doesn't work, could you make a screenshot of your Steam library showing it being stuck at 60%?

Also, if you want the title of your thread to be corrected, you can report your first post and specify you would like a name change.

Have you tried simply restarting your computer?

I had a problem with 1.3.4.4 not downloading as well, but restarting the computer (and applying a pending Steam update) fixed the problem.
Sometimes Steam gets cranky when running for a long time.

Well brawlhalla just installed after an HOUR, SO imma just try and wait for terraria to install. And i have already tried contacting steam but they still havent replied. Terraria has downloaded but hasnt installed. Thanks for ur help anyway bud :p

And it says its downloaded fully but it hasnt loaded whatsoever, and unlike when i tried reinstalling brawlhalla, there is no esttimated time left

Can you try deleting the entire Terraria and installing it with Steam fully again? Run it all as Administrator to be safe.

Hmm, Installing Terraria while running as Administrator might actually do the trick. The Terraria download includes installers for .NET and XNA which are run once. It might be those that are giving you grief.

Hi, I have the same problem of Terraria being stuck at low speeds of around 1kbps (it's stuck at 14% for me) on Steam right now.

What I've tried:
- Clearing Downloads cache
- Changing Download server
- Switching to mobile internet
- Reinstalling Steam

What I've noticed is :
- Other games will download and install 100% fine
- After restarting the Terraria download from scratch, the download speed always slows down around the 25MB download mark (which is about 14%)

Any ideas?
