That's simply not the case, I've spoken to many mod developers who state that they will support future Terraria patches, including 1.3.6.you need to wait for 1.3.6 to come out first before making that question.

What is TEdit?
TEdit is a stand alone, open source map editor for Terraria. It lets you edit maps just like (almost) paint! It also lets you change world settings (time, bosses downed etc), edit chests and change sign, make epic dungeons, castles, cities, and add rewards for your adventurers!
This thread is for feedback! It is an easy place to post issues and feature requests, so let me know if you have any.
MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR WORLD BEFORE USING THIS!!!
It will make one for you (*.wld.Tedit), but you should make one anyway.

Yes, really. It has been downloaded thousands of times by members of this community without any sort of infection reported.
Did you extract the .zip? There's should be a .exe called "TEditXna.exe". That's what you run. What version of Windows are you on? We need more info then what you gave to troubleshoot it. Thanks!excuse me but...

Please report and move on, let the staff handle things like this. Your post adds nothing to the discussion either. Thanks. Please don't post unless you have something useful to add to the discussion.

Not sure what the "Java thing" is, but you should just be able to double click the ".exe" and it'll open. No need for Java at all.Yes its extracted.
I use the Java thing for opening .exe's and they work.
I just don't know why it's not opening.
Also I'm on Windows 10
here's the only problem. Not sure what the "Java thing" is, but you should just be able to double click the ".exe" and it'll open. No need for Java at all.
Nevermind, It works nowhere's the only problem.
its the FILE Type that matters.

i don't know why it wont open but it just wont
I'm glad you got it working, but you seem to have your default file extensions incorrectly pointing to the program that opens them. A ".exe" should have no program assigned to it, but the ".exe" extension on your computer is assigned to Java for some reason. If you remove the Java program's association with the ".exe" extension, you should be able to open executable files just fine. Just google default programs file extensions for W10 and you should find some tutorials on how to change that.Nevermind, It works now
