It does 25 melee damage.
The RIS is 2 blocks long.
It can be sold for 2 Gold Coins

The Reinforced Iron Sword can be crafted at an anvil by using these:
1 Gold Broadsword
1 Silver Broadsword
1 Iron Broadsword
10 Iron Bars

If a suggestion has no niche to fill and lacks both creativity and humor, without adding facets to gameplay or solving problems, then it was dead before it was even born.

The Katana and Muramasa(and this really shouldn't have a higher damage than those two) already fulfill the role of PHM auto-swing swords. Also, you are not thinking in the terms of alternates, and tiering at all. Unless the weapon you are suggesting fills a spot that can't be filled by anything else, you usually need several other weapons to go with it.

In this case, you completely ignored tin, lead, tungsten, and platinum. Then demonite, meteorite and crimtane. Not to mention hellstone, and then the rest of HM ores.

Then again, even if you didn't neglect those, this is like a seriously watered down version of Terra Blade crafting, so I don't think anyone will actually flock to the idea.
