I like these a lot, actually! The Living Wood armor seems really balanced, especially with how many more options with summoner it has. I also love how it encourages using magic alongside your minions, which is something that Red actually intended (not magic specifically, just non-summon weapons.)

Some really cool ideas here.

13 Base Damage
0% Critical Strike Chance
Weak Knockback

'All arrows fired can pierce one extra target'

Shortsword

I really like these two in particular.

Living Wood Crown:
2 Defense
Increases max mana by 2

Is that a typo? Because I really doubt 2 extra mana will ever make any difference.

Accessories
-----
Spiked Glove:
Allows Spiky Balls & Thornballs to stick to their target, dealing additional damage over time

This is actually really bad, since the power of Spiky Balls comes from them sitting on the ground and hitting multiple times, unless the balls still have a hitbox while stuck on something

Frostbite Amulet:
Increases damage dealt and critical strike chance by 9%
Slightly increases armor penetration

This early HM item is better than Destroyer Emblem, which is already the strongest combat accessory in the game. Needs to be toned down.

Also "Frostbite" in the name barely references the STN and the Desert amulet in the recipe. I think you can do more with this, maybe combine the Ice amulet with Frozen Turtle Shell, and keep the Desert one with the STN? The Pre Mech accessory pool is awful after all.

I thought that it was the original intent that the Spiky Balls just kept their hitbox while sticking?

Thank you so much for sharing this info! I'll elaborate a bit more on some of the ideas I listed, and I also changed a few things in the original idea pool to better match your suggestions!

1.) When Spiky Balls are stuck to an enemy, yes they keep their original hit-box, dealing damage to overlapping enemies of segments. But, I do agree, and I'll think about things to do to make the Spiked Glove a bit more useful

2.) I gave the Living Wood Crown the ability to grant the player with 2 Mana Stars in order to increases the playability of early game mages

3.) The name of the Frostbite Amulet comes from the 'frost' part of the Icicle Necklet, and the 'bite' part of the Sharktooth Necklace. Thanks for your suggestion, though, as I never realized how powerful the item really was.. My bad.

4.) If there's anything else you'd like to suggest, I'm open to discussion! Your comments were really helpful, and I'd love to continue this post with more new ideas, so if you have any, I might implement them!

Again, thank you! :dryadhappy:
