(Help needed, see Testing and Sprites sections)​

This mod aims to extend the endgame of Terraria by adding new bosses, world changes, items, etc. This is normally where I would write a long "summary" describing this mod's goal... but instead let's get straight to the content!
(Note: This mod is currently in a very incomplete state, at least compared to what I have planned. Also, I am not responsible for any trauma that might be caused by how terrible some of my pixel art might be.)

Testing
So here's the thing: this mod is a WIP, and everything I add may not be balanced properly. So, I will be releasing updates whenever I finish a feature that requires balance testing. Most important is that bosses are neither too easy nor too hard based on the standards I set out, and that weapons are not too powerful, nor are they too weak for the methods used to obtain them. If you want to help test, just download, play, then comment on the balance. As of v0.2.3, with both stronger monsters and stronger weapons, I believe that discussions on balance can actually take place, so let's hear what you have to say!

Sprites
As I have mentioned earlier, I am terrible with pixel art. So if you see any sprite that looks terrible, feel free to tell me specifically what is wrong with it, and I will make an attempt to fix it. If you're really willing to, you can even make a sprite on your own then show it to me. If I use your sprite, I will give you credit.

- The Abomination drops a Molten Drill
- Defeating the Abomination triggers the Elemental Unleash
- Defeating the Abomination generates Purium Ore

- The Abomination now takes 0 damage instead of 1 when out of range
- Added Night Slime, Fury Night, Retineye, and Spazmateye

v0.1.1
- Buffed the Phantom
- Added mask and trophy for the Phantom
- Added the Hardmode Guide
- Added Icicles, Phantom Plates, Bubbles, Scythe Blades, and Foul Orbs
- The Phantom drops Phantom Plates instead of Ectoplasm

In summary, the Phantom has slightly more health and attacks faster, a new town NPC was added, 5 new items were added, and some boss drops changed. The Ice Queen will drop Icicles (more chance at higher waves), the Phantom will drop Phantom Plates, Duke Fishron will drop Bubbles, and Pumpking will drop Scythe Blades (more chance at higher waves).

This looks quite cool. I think I'll download it bc all I have left to do in terraria is get trophies and reforge. (Also wait for 1.3 lol)
 
Sorry this update took so long; I ran into many troubles trying to get the client and server to sync, and had to delve very deep into the source code a lot.
v0.1.2: Server Compatibility
- The Phantom should now work on dedicated servers
- Better sprites for the phantom weapons
- Small improvements and bug fixes
- Changed how the Phantom's sword attack behaves

As far as I can tell, the Phantom should work near perfectly on a dedicated server. However, I have not tested this with multiple people on one server (it would be nice if someone could do that). Please keep in mind that the Phantom takes much less damage from players whom it is not targeting.

Prepare to die. A lot.

Anyways, v0.2 will be a very long series of updates; defeating this boss will set off a kind of extra hardmode (I'm thinking of calling it Elemental Unleash).

Also, I realize that since vanilla worlds can't be ported to tAPI, and since this mod solely adds end-game content, it may be difficult for people to progress enough to test things. What do people think about me including test recipes in "developer versions" so you can get to testing more quickly?
 
omg I cant wait for the update Im already prepare for the boss fight I already combine the 5 things from the 5 bosses cant wait to fight it

The new boss is supposed to be super hard; don't be surprised if you die a few times (or more). Please let me know if you don't find this boss challenging. Also, keep in mind that other than coins, mask, and trophy, there is no real reward for beating this boss yet; that is for the next update.

wow it was a fun fight but the boss kept going underground in hell like to the bottom of the world were it made it hard to hit it since he would go inside the ash

Yeah, that's one thing I was worried about. For now, I'd recommend preparing an arena with wooden platforms, and if enough people complain, then I'll make a fix for that.
 
Definitely looks cool, you should work on the sprites though, they don't fit with Terraria super well.
Yeah, I suck at pixel art so much I even included a disclaimer about it :p
Also, I am not responsible for any trauma that might be caused by how terrible my pixel art is.
To be honest, I have no idea how to make pixel art actually look good (sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I fail miserably), so if anyone thinks they could improve a sprite in my mod, feel free to show me (or tell me about what I could change if they don't want to make a sprite).

That was actually much easier to implement than I thought it would be. Anyways, I estimate that I'm around 1/3 done with the next update (although who knows, maybe the other parts will also take shorter than I thought).
 
I really like this mod. It's one of the most sophisticated mods with the custom AIs. I absolutely can't wait to see more. :)
