Weapons & Equip Hardmode Enemy-Dropped Armor Sets

Once you get into Hardmode, you notice that a lot of the common enemies you find start wearing fancy pieces of armor. Then you think, "Man, I would look good in that. I want a piece of that action." So, I would like to propose the idea of having common HM enemies and post-Plantera Dungeon mobs drop their very own sets of armor to be worn by the player.

Just a heads-up, prepare yourself for a massive wall of text.

Common Hardmode Enemy Armors

These armors are roughly Palladium-Mythril level in power.

Heavy Bone Armor Set (Melee)

That seems like WAY too many armor sets based after enemies. Armored Skeletons, Skeleton Archers, and Possessed Armors might be enough for sets that benefit you (Melee, Range, and Magic of respectively of course). The Paladin Armor would be really cool as a complete tank, but there's already the Beetle Armor so those may conflict (It would be awesome to dress as a mini Paladin, wear the shield, and chuck the hammer everywhere though :p). The post-Plantera dungeon enemy drops might be better to fall under as vanity sets, as by the time you have access to the post-Plantera dungeon you are either working on the Shroomite, Turtle/Beetle, or Spectre armors.
 
Good stuffs and sprites! But i think the paladin armor is too much op!
Beetle Endurance is a much better bonus that Paladin Armor when it comes to defense. Paladin is meant to be more of an up-close and personal kind of tank while Beetle Shell is more about keeping your distance and dodging attacks. Paladin armor has better stats in general, but Beetle Endurance will help you more if you know how to use it.
 
Full support. Only suggestion: paladin armor deflect chance should be decreased to 10%, just like Black Belt's effect. 50% is way too OP.

50% to deflect half of an attack's damage. Besides, it's better because it's an armor set bonus and not just an accessory.

Oh ok i just realized what that really means. I thought when damage was deflected the player aviods damage. I get it now, its like turtle armor but with a lower chance.

It's kind of like a mix of both. Turtle armor reflects 100% damage to the attacker and Beetle Shell usually absorbs 30% or 45% of damage taken. Paladin Armor would reduce damage taken by an average of 25% and reflect an average of 75% damage back to the attacker.
 
Awesome! Love the Paladin armor! I'm a sucker for defense, and with warding accesories, ankh shield and paladin's shield and celestial stone + paladin armor defense (84), then that would be an insane amount of defense! I LOVE IT!!!! :D
 
Sometimes when I look at the Dungeon enemies, I've been thinking about getting their armor as drops. You put it into words and provided the sprites for it, snd I'd love to see this added.
 
I like the idea in a general sense, but I think it puts way to high a concentration of armour drops in the dungeon. Given what dungeon spawn rates are, you wouldn't be able to go in there without clogging your inventory with helmets, chestplates, and greaves. That might be nice at first, but it would quickly get annoying.
