I can confirm this also happens on 14" M1 Max MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura 13.5.2. Steam version 1.4.4.9. If this is a macOS bug, it's filed as Apple Feedback FB13148204 as well.

I'm also having this issue, and it's making the game pretty hard to play, as it's hard to aim at any block when the two cursors are in (slightly) different places :/

Didn't work for me (also sdl2 is required for ffmpeg, which may be why it was installed) edit: deleting the file in the terraria app did work, however.

When I try to launch Terraria from Steam on macOS 12 Monterey (beta 10), it crashes immediately. I remember 1.4.0 working perfectly, and I think 1.4.1 worked, as well. If I launch an old version that's still installed, 1.3.5, it works perfectly.
