    @Mecha_Twitchy, I didnt do that. I saved it, turned it off, went back on an hour later and my Characters items were gone. Terraria Console is just broken.

    Well, it used to be HELLA broken before 1.4
    Especially when it came to literally any dyes-

    Ok, I'm never going back to Terraria. My pre-moon lord character got corrupted, and I lost everything. I grinded the game for about a month on a new character and a new world and then the data file got corrupted, AGAIN. And, the character had gear that I could almost defeated moon lord in.

    -_-:... You do realize that the terrarian, even with only solar armor, no optimization, will take so little damage that he can regenerate his lost 1 health out of 500, and can literally sleep in a bed whilst that is happening.

    Any tips for the Pumpkin Moon event? I'm gonna try and defeat it today. I also dont know what sort of loot I can get so I'm practically going in blind.

    I just went looking for a prismatic lacewing, and after about 20 seconds of waiting one spawned!

    Hoenn very much does not (I gave up on a Wurmple hunt in PLA because it just didn't work, and on PFQ I paused a Poochyena and Electrike hunt because my luck was awful)

    meanwhile i could be looking ages for a lacewing and then it auto despawns when i try to spawn and kill it because apparently the hallow biome i was in wasn't hallow enough

    I've been playing Terraria for a while and I have nearly always used melee class. I started a new playthrough and I have decided to give the mage class a go. I am pre-Moon-Lord and I am open too suggestions for gear, armour and strategies in the mage class to help to to defeat ML. :D

    Magic Power and Mana Regen potions are really helpful. You can craft them if you have potion making infrastructure, or find them in the Underworld.
    As for general tips, hooking up Heart and Star statues to timers will give you more health and mana, respectively. Making sure you've got a Campfire, Heart Lantern, Star in a Bottle, Bast Statue, etc. in your arena helps. Basically just all the normal arena setup.

    and If you ever get stuck you can always just sit in a box with the nurse and spam heal

    Nice, I started out as melee and switched to mage as well. Good luck with any future endeavors with mage class, as for advice I currently have none. Feel free to come to me if you have any questions though.
