You never quite realize just how much gas is in one of those propane bottles until you're watching it slowly release all of its contents because it didn't close properly...

Well, although I still wouldn't quite consider it done, my PFP is now...

I have just been looking through my profile, and I have noticed that other people have posted on it more than I have. So I seek to work towards very slowly fixing that "problem", starting with this slightly ominous but ultimately forgettable post that says it will have meaning later.

Well, it is now actually 2022 in my timezone, so happy New Year to everyone.

Because my timezone is quite late, and most people have New Years before I do, I'm just going to wish Happy New Year to everyone in a timezone before the one I'm in.
I'll say it again when it actually happens for me.

It's nice when something you've been waiting for finally arrives in the mail. Partly because it means you now get to have the thing that was mailed to you, but also because it means you no longer have to worry that the postal system lost your package.

So, for the past few days it's been above 30°c in my area, but today it dropped down to normal temperatures during a storm. The problem is, our windows and siding did not handle the storm that well, so for the past few minutes I've been walking around inspecting the damage. It isn't too bad, but it's noticeable.
