  • Why don't people ever appreciate healers in team based games? There's a such thing as a bad healer, but they're lucky they have one at all.

It just irks me when I'm playing healer and one of our damage character insta-lockers decides to give me :red:. Who else is doing it? You? People should feel lucky I'm nice enough to go healer when nobody else does, even if I quite frankly don't really want to.

I only play the healer when I well and truly want to... and if my team's composition isn't crap. Like... if I join a server in TF2 and all I see are Scouts, Engineers, Spies, and Snipers then I don't go Medic. Otherwise, I'm sticking by the Engineers and Snipers.

No offense classes? No Medic. That's how I go as I know if I do then the game is going to be miserable for me.
To be honest, I'd probably trust Mystery Heroes in Overwatch to give me better team comps compared to people insta-locking DPS in quickplay.
i am sick and browsing tcf isn't curing it, mods please fix this in the next forum update
Don't you just love it when you're trying to find settings to make a game run smoother, and someone tells you to "buy a new computer"?

The amount of people who actually believe that hacking in multiplayer games is acceptable is unnerving.

Wait... people actually think that's acceptable?

There have been multiple instances where a few hackers were banned in some game and they thought that they didn't have the right to do that to them, yeah. Honestly, I'm convinced that half of it is just trolling (I don't know how anyone could be that stupid and/or salty they got banned for hacking), but Overwatch seems to have to deal with it a lot.

Meanwhile, TF2 has morons who don't vote kick hackers at all and will vote kick anyone who does try.

People like that deserve their entire inventories of items lost, or even their precious stats (all forms of it) reset as a lot do this because they're farming points off said hackers doing their thing.
What with Crash Bandicoot getting all of these new games and stuff, it makes me depressed that Spyro is still stuck in Skylanders hell*.

    * Also known as the game franchise where Spyro gains less and less relevance with every new instalment

At least the first Skylanders was titled, "Spyro's adventures" but then it fell off and Spyro is just a reoccurring character.

But you can like clearly tell that the only reason Spyro was there in the first place was to get people hooked on the game because he was a familiar character, which is also probably another reason why he just takes up space in subsequent additions to the series, because he outlived his usefulness..

Can't imagine the game would've done as well otherwise.

The amount of people that troll on Yahoo answers is disappointing given its potential to be a good resource of information.
Tfw you're stressed so you try to play a multiplayer game to get rid of it only to keep losing repeatedly which just gets you more stressed.

In my experience, it's not best to play something multiplayer when already agitated in some way. More often than not that feeling will get worse.

I'd imagine that for some people it could easily have the opposite effect, too. Of course, some people are going to get more agitated either way but in most cases it feels good to win, which could relieve stress. The only problem being you have a nearly equal chance to lose so it's just a coin flip.

It depends, it can go both ways. Back when I got stressed often if I ran into good sports (in Sm4sh) even losing I would have a blast. But run into the teabagging players that are intentionally trying to annoy you it feels like a chore to beat them and even winning leaves a sour taste.

Can we all just agree that race is one of the pettiest gripes humans can have with each other? It's literally just skin colour.

A lot of diseases and afflictions do extremely nasty things to your skin (e.g. gangrene, smallpox and frostbite; do yourself a favour and don't look those up) which is why skin colour other than their own can be repulsive to some people. It's just the brain trying to protect itself from a possible infection: nothing more than good old preservation instinct kicking in.

I do agree that racism is bad, of course, but as with most things, it has its roots in basic instinct, so I don't think you can call it 'petty'.
    Gracias para la seguir, agradezcolo.
Almost a year after it shut down, I still have a link to TO in my search bar. Never forget.
