I know this is definitely untrue, but I headcannon real life in such a way where if scientists were to revive a dead person with a functioning body, as in their brain died but haven't lost any functionality on rest of their organs, if we were to somehow kickstart that brain and "revive" that person, I feel like their only goal would be to end themselves again due to the lack of any soul. Like, in my head if a living being shouldn't be living, it'll just kill itself. Not in a way that "it jumped off a building" or "it stabbed itself with the sharpest object nearby". Instead, in a way of "it bashed its head into its knees until it was dead again" or "it ripped its own skull out with bare hands and smushed its brain" kinda way.
