What console, and what version of terraria. If you are on xbox 360 (like i am) then expect lag if you have an old console. Almost always when i play terraria the title screen lags and purple boxes instead of trees in the bottom of the screen.

I like crimson more because of the blood theme and the pre-Hardmode boss Brain of Cthulhu
