    Oh, hi, uh Happy Holidays. My bad for not being on the forums, couple other games have been taking a lot of my time, especially ULTRAKILL. Also been doing animation as well for a game I'm working on, so I've been busy. There likely won't be as much activity on this account until the Sunken Sea update releases for Calamity, so just... consider this holiday vacation?

    I have uncovered the joys of vanilla texture packs
    This will not end well for my world that will now be overrun with various Touhou NPC's.
    And Pandemonium Eye of Cthulu.

    Found a way to make it interesting!
    Building!
    This character's being made for building, might as well build nice looking houses during the playthrough!
    These Forest NPC houses were inspired by the typical 'Tavern/Inn' type of structure you'd see in a lot of fantasy works. I think I did a pretty good job at replicating that feeling, even if my building skill is subpar.

    Small pit stop before Masochist Mode, though.
    Gonna go back to Vanilla for a bit to do an Expert Journey Mode playthrough in order to procure an endgame character for building in Vanilla on PC.
    Will I update you all in this one? Maybe. It's Vanilla though, on Journey specifically, so I'm not sure how interesting i can make it.

    Ok, I'm about 2 months late for this, but better late than never, right?
    I planned on making a new thread for how long these posts end up getting, but I'm not sure where I'd put it and a thread that's sole purpose is to update once a year would be... odd, as it doesn't really encourage discussion, so we're gonna stick to multiple profile posts.

    I uh.
    I really loved Fargo's.
    And I didn't attempt the Soul of Eternity during Persis' playthrough.
    And also the difficulty is literally called Masochist Mode.
    I need to play this, so that will be our next playthrough! We're gonna do progression a bit differently, but I'll reveal more about that when we do start that playthrough.

    So uhm... what else is left to talk about?
    Well.. I'd like to thank you all.
    A lot of ya'll have been some of my best friends, for quite a long time now, even when we had to move to Discord. I'm very, very appreciative of the fact that you all somehow tolerate my presence. If you believe you are being referred to here, you most likely are, and I thank you, deeply.

    Persis has completed his quest, and has done a little more as well.
    I cannot believe I did it this attempt.

    "Timor et Idola Deus"... roughly translates to "God of Fear and Idols." Fitting for the season, while still preserving the powerful image of Keiki Haniyasushin.

    Oh my god Boss Rush sucks so much in Eternity-Death
    A 2 HOUR long attempt, my first, was ended at the very end from the Mutant's final attack.
    gonna try again tomorrow, obviously, we don't do giving up around here, but that is just... annoying.

    This particular post really fought with me over the character limit, I made sure I was 100 characters under the limit (originally 311 characters, so 109 under the 420 limit) and I still was getting flagged for having too many characters. Really annoying.

    Fargo's Souls, I'm also using Fargo's Souls DLC to bump Eternity mode into Eternity-Death mode.

    Simple. I got off of school at 12. I got on Terraria. I died to the Mutant for (9 again, actually.) hours straight.

    The Brimstone Witch has been bested.
    Now we have a few things left, Boss Rush of course, and we still have Wrath of the Gods installed, but we also have a certain one-eyed brother that will be the hardest fight I'll ever do in Terraria.

    Like yeah, I killed Exo Mechs, this fight's stellar I love it to death.

    Providence is the only boss that has punctuation in its name (the comma).

    ACTUALLY, SCal also has a comma (Supreme Witch, Calamitas), and all of the Exo Mechs have hyphens (XF-09 ARES, XM-05 THANATOS, XS-03 APOLLO and XS-01 ARTEMIS), Yharon has both Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth and Yharon, Resplendent Phoenix, and finally Signus also has Signus, Envoy of the Devourer. Calamity has a lot of commas.

    I have bad(ish) memories of SCal, specifically not realizing that she has 99% damage reduction outside of her box and fighting her for hours as a result, getting her to 5% health, then having my game crash.

    This. Took. So. Long.
    The Abominationn has been defeated. This took up nearly my entire day. I found myself verbally counting each of his attacks so I knew what his next patterns were. I found myself making Auric Tesla for the first time to just get that little bit of extra damage. This boss is absurd.
