    Can women statues hit you in dark caves? I got hit by one in console (ps4) and got hit for around 20 damage and nothing was there so I think the statue there hit me. Also it couldn't of been a bat I wasn't deep enough for that.

    Alternatively, did you have a companion cube pet? Sometimes they stab you when it's dark.

    It was at the beginning of a playthrough I didn't even have a merchant, but when I tried standing there again it didn't work. Could've been an enemy that despawned unnaturally quick.

    Also the reason i stood there was because of the companion cube Easter egg, I think it may be a nod to the weeping angel from doctor who.
