How the do I beat Skeletron on a drunk world,

1. If i try to rope up to the surface, he just keeps knocking me off it.

2. If I get a bed and recall, he then despawn


Is he intended to be fought in Hardmode on drunk worlds or what!?!

update: well I guess I need to somehow stop being lazy and actually use Nova in RJITU instead of watching Wand of Sparking videos

Ok man, I just found a meteorite, the only problem is that it was just under my desert town (basically in the entrance of the underground desert), yet the devs made it so you need to use a tungsten pick or higher to destroy meteorite but explosives dont work until hardmode (why not just make it post evil bosses alone instead of restricting the use of explosives alongside it)
