yknow, when i first discovered shimmer, i honestly thought it was like, a tease for terraria 2 or something. just seemed so mystical and magical, that i was like "oh this is for sure something from another re-logic game thats still in conceptual phases right now"
but maybe its just the silly magic fluid

I just found out that Trident increases movement speed underwater. No hardmode upgrade for it? Poseidon's Trident or something?

Ngl, i'm a little worried 'cause i don't see a Cloud Work Bench along those Cloud Platforms in that "By Hand" crafting menu

Maybe you would need some crafting station like the sky Mill for furniture?

Can you guys increase the length of the world instead of its width in large worlds?

Since rarely any people build underground and the majority of it is the caverns layer

Also please consider increasing the height in hell when you guys do this

hi red,
i know youve mentioned feature creep when it comes to 1.4.5, so i have a question. how many items are in the update…? 1.4.4 was gonna be a “little balance update” and ended up introducing over 300 new items… have we broken 200 for 1.4.5? 300 maybe? im curious

If it doesn’t already exist, could you make a block where you couldn’t use a mount on it? I was just thinking that the mouse could be cool for puzzle map making, but might be too powerful for specific areas.

Hi Red, I have but one request for 1.4.5: Can there be an option to show the special effects of certain armors (Forbidden Halo, HM Ore Armor Pulses, Spectre Transparency) even while not wearing it? The forbidden set's halo in particular looks really cool and I'd love to rock it for the rest of the game. (Also a way to dye it independently from the chest slot would be a godsend!)

Estoy SUPER ansioso por conocer la canción de Skeletron, me pregunto seriamente cómo será. Porque una vez me instalé un mod en el que los jefes vanilla eran completamente "Rebuildeados" y Skeletron tenía una nueva canción, pero era pesima debido a que se notaba que debía venir de algun AU de Undertale.

Red how hard would it to be to implement gravity potions for sideways? We have up and down but not left and right. Also thinking about roller skates it makes me sad that Terraria can't do loop de loops with minecarts or roller skates. Also directionless booster tracks please. As in no matter which side you approach the boost you will be boosted.
