As a strong critic (out of love), who has given these guys a lot of crap over the years with some of the knuckle-head decisions they've made....
...PARITY ...at at long last!
I never really imagined it!
I dunno what to say other than, thank you.
Thank you
Terraria had always reminded me of Microsoft's office. Spend some time with either one and you'll be good... for awhile at least. Once an update hits, all bets are off. They'll have likely changed things around enough that you'll feel lost. Worry not as after months of usage, you'll get into the...
Xbox One Elite. Updated game. Started game and got syncing files for like 39 minutes now. Getting worried. Is there a something I should do??
Update: syncing issues that prevent the game from EVEN starting!!! Just read all about it. Good job team! (Slow golf clap...)
So... state of the game in August is... Console 1.4 submitted! (Aug 26th)
...state of the game for September will be... Console release. (Sept 30th) 😒
I knew something was up since this process usually doesn't take 3 to 4 weeks. Why would I ever think something with Terraria and console could...
Finally... Some actual good news. I feel like I'm one of the harshest critics. So when I'm impressed with the news... ya nailed it. I never thought that I'd be reading "submitted" when I clicked the August update. I can wait a few more weeks for release.
Good job.
Console player here. I only hope that they learn from all the years of having versions all over the place. That they build their next game with a controller in mind from the onset. Also building the code structure ready to be easily patched and ported would help on the backside.
When the months state of the game gets pushed out at the very end of the month, you know someone isn't going to be happy. Yes, once again it's the console guys. No real updates other than keyboard and mouse support (cause that's what controller peeps want right?).
Cross play requires...
Me also. I've been here for what seems like forever. What's weird is consoles UI was totally grenaded long ago for reasons of "quicker updates" due to being in parity with the PC version. I was skeptical but thought, eh if it gets us to the same level as the current version, I'm ok I guess...
I'm assuming it's dead. I have seen a pattern emerge in the last 4ish years and I simply placed T2 into that pattern. I hope I'm wrong though as I love Terraria.
Also, It is physical possible. Very much so and in fact, I've listed one of many possible actions that would facilitate faster work...
Every 2 to 3 months I check in to see if there is any updates... Switch... Mobile... Console... anthing really. I love this game but whomever is behind the business side needs to be fired. All anyone ever does is wait on updates.
Solution: stop doing free updates. Seriously! Your game is good...
I've always said that they SHOULD put out the major revisions as a form of DLC packs and make a little money of them. Currently they have been free but having them free has cost us so much over the years.
Charging a few bucks for every few major bumps could've brought enough revenue to pay for...
Xbox One user here. Well I actually have it for PC also. I was almost going to buy it on my PS4 this holiday to play the 1.3 while waiting on the Xbox update but thought, NO way I'm giving these guys any more money.
Thing is, I kept reading about all the bugs being submitted and thought, how...
Hello folks, I recently stumbled upon a post at another forum for Terraria where a user managed to change his devices DPI to allow for a much higher resolution when playing.
http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/terraria-mobile-larger-resolution.180840/
I would like to do this as I have an...
