Terraria is among my favorite games of all time. It offers challenging combat, vast creative resources, significant replayability, and is supported by a great community.
If you're interested in other games I've enjoyed playing, here are the highlights:
Hollow Knight: a masterfully crafted metroidvania with simple but immensely compelling combat and more to explore than you can imagine; my favorite single-player game of all time
Celeste: expertly crafted and challenging platforming experience
Pyre: the most compelling story- and character-driven game I've ever played
Slay the Spire: a rogue-like deck-building card game that has remained interesting and challenging for over 300 hours of gameplay
Hades: a thrilling top-down rogue-like beat-em-up with vibrant characters based on Greek mythology
Enter the Gungeon: an engaging top-down rogue-like shooter/bullet hell with a fantastic sense of humor
DOOM Eternal: viscerally enjoyable PvE first person shooter with stunning visuals and exhilarating and dynamic combat
Baba Is You: A deep yet intuitive box pushing puzzle game with genius solutions and brilliant "aha!" moments
Poly Bridge: Cute bridge building simulator with a variety of challenges and extremely fun mechanical shenanigans when hydraulics are involved
Various digital collecting card games; Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Mythgard, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, and Eternal
