    just beat expert Eye of Cthulhu for the first time. I'm happy because I didn't find it as difficult as I expected. Eater of Worlds is next!

    Congrats, dude! I always go for meteor armor at the beginning of my playthroughs, so when I fought Expert EoC solo for the first time, he was a piece of cake. I would recommend that for the eater of worlds. What gear did you use?

    I used tungsten armor, a gold bow, a ton of grenades! I used jester's arrows for the first phase, and then for phase 2, I used flaming arrows and grenades when he did the crazy charge attacks. I watched a youtuber's guide on how to beat it, so roughly knew what to do. :)

    oh, yeah, I also used ironskin, regeneration, swiftness, and archery potions. they work pretty good against him.
