    I guess the Relogic team did their homework.

    The real Excalibur would be OP in Terraria tho. A sword which "shines as brightly as the sun itself" and which "can cut through any known metal."

    Basically, King Arthur was given a lightsaber after pulling a sword out of a stone, a sword which was most likely DNA-coded to only be pulled by him. Science!

    Shame the Excalibur is so weak.. you're better off with a Gungnir or Light Discs, and then the True Night's Edge is far better than True Excalibur, I think. Excalibur vs Plantera? pfft.. good luck.

    Speaking of Lightsabers.. that'd be cool if we got some phase saber upgrades in 1.3.. and be able to reflect lasers. Make them dual phase sabers!
