I never really use mods. I've always figured that if something was necessary to mod into the game, and it proved so popular it became a "must have", then why wouldn't the devs just make it official and let it be in the base game? But that's just my stance.

Man, time flies...remembering back when Terraria had basically nothing and now it's on the final update. Been a wild ride.

I never subscribe to "YouTubers", so I have no idea who that guy is. That aside, I find what little details we're getting about 1.3 to be awesome.

Here's hoping I can run the damn game, as it's graphics look closer to Starbound, which I lag so badly on that the game is unplayable. That and I hope there are options to lower the graphics anyway, my age old scrap pile has a hard time doing anything anymore.
