    He is kind of the kind of boss that gets easier as you get access to his weapons. Although, might be a different story in Expert. Though, that Terrarian might help a bit.

    I used only the Phantasm and Vortex Beater, the Terrarian might help a bit though. Update: Now I'm sad cause portal gun can't get me across the map :(

    nope and life force, iron skin, endurance regeneration, swiftness, thorns and wrath. i over killed it a little because i was in normal mode but that should work in expert as well. it might pay to put a nurse somewhere as well.

    You have a Frozen Turtle Shell? If so, that thing would pair well with the mount.

    Also, a heart statue set up for hearts might be good for healing while in the middle of the fight. I have around 8 (restoring 160 health per run) on the top of my boss arena. Just make sure to pick up most of the hearts after fighting a Tower. There is a world limit on hearts.

    Getting 8 might be unlikely on one world. I would aim to get at least four. 80 health every few seconds is better than nothing when waiting on the Potion Sickness Debuff.

    As for my class, ranger. I've been using the Duke Fishron mount, and I do have the UFO Key. The Solar Pillar is just ugh. If you haven't done it yet, save the Solar Pillar for last. The UFO Key won't help with that one.

    I have done it. Multiple times in fact. Although, I disagree with the Solar Pillar. As it is the most likely one to kill you, it should be taken care of first.

    I've already beaten the other 3, and the Phantasm has helped A LOT. As well as Stardust Dragon. They're making the Solar Pillar easier for me.

    It depends, for general travel/ exploration, it's the go to item. In a fight, the Paladin's shield will do you slightly better. But remember, some event enemies inflict debuffs.

    The only good Duke drop is Razorblade Typhoon. And the Shrimpy Truffle, I suppose, but that's Expert only, AND the UFO is better in a few ways. :l
