nvm haha i figured it out, now my character is just bald while wearing the mask though since it doesn't cover the full head

okay thanks, I can just put that in the same spot as item pngs in the texture pack with the same naming convention and it should work right? (I was talking about xnb files at first lol so just double checking)

So I've tried lol I've retextured the mask to have no hood at all, just the white part of the mask, the item itself gets retextured but when the item is worn it looks the same. Also tried modding the XNB file directly and same results. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?
