Mobile Terraria Fixes

Dear Terraria makers, i am a fellow player of Terraria on iphone 6s. I would appreciate it if you can add a new pet that damages enemies and/or heals the player every hit on a boss only. Maybe you can add something like the Apple logo that follows you around. I would reslly appreciate it. I love the game and would give it 5 stars. I have defeated almost every boss with the exception of Holloween Pumpking, Duke Fishron and the Frost Moon events as I think they are too hard even though i have some of the best weapons and armor in the game and accessories like the ankh shield. If you guys can make them a little bit easier i would really like it. Thank you for making such an amazing game. I wish you would keep making amazing new updates for the mobile. If you cant do these I understand but if you could send me a reply on why you cant. Thank You. This is the best game ever!!

It's not the biggest issue but my auto target doesn't function properly. When I hold the joystick down the auto target doesn't kick in until the enemy is close enough to kiss me (attack). Happens with all mobs and all types of builds. The only thing working seems to be axes. Like I say it's not a huge problem as I prefer no auto target but for bosses it's a blessing to only have to focus on evasion. Is there a fix for this or is it a bug.

And Axes target where you DON'T want them to, IE Drax in the jungle, and you target down, and you still cut down a Mahogany Tree to your left.

Also, Hammers don't work with Auto-Target, they will only hammer directly in front of you, at swinging-level, you have to manually take walls down -.-
 
Found one minor bug, and another nasty bug... (in order)

1; Because of Herplings having particularly eratic movement, I have seen them GO THROUGH THE FLOOR. They get stuck on blocks and then move 1 tile down and right, 1 tile down and left, 1 tile down and right, 1 tile down and left, ETC until it gets in another opening, it's literally gone through the floor.

2; Frozen Wings, while equipped, create a lighting bug, it negates normal lighting, I have some screenshots with/without them equipped, without them, the player has some light around him, and also the envioronment can make some light, with them equipped, the screen can be pitch black.
 
Somebody help when i open terraria on my ipad air 2 it opens and closes i see only the terraria screen and thats it not even 505 bye bye 5 euro :(
 
Reminder of two things:

1. Current bugs should be reported here: LINK
2. The version that Pipeworks is working on will be a full rewrite and code replacement - rendering all old bugs obsolete. So I wouldn't assume all is lost at all, provided your device can hold the eventual 1.3 requirements (TBD).
 
Hello Mobile Terrarians!

We have another round of fixes for you. Both Google Play and iOS are now in the submission process and if all goes well there, will be out to you within a few days. Click the spoiler below for the complete list of fixes. On the Windows side, Windows 10 based devices should now work and devices with less than 1GB Ram are back (details below). For the Amazon version, we have added support for non-Amazon devices, but the same system requirements apply. You can expect the next round to bring Windows Phone and Amazon back into full alignment with the iOS and Google Play versions. Thanks as always for your patience and support!


GOOGLE PLAY/iOS (In Submission)

Fix - Incorrect ranged damage appears for the item 'Egg Cannon’.
Fix - Incorrect item "Fancy Dishes" is obtained on destroying 'Fancy Dishes'.
Fix - More than one Light Pets can be summoned at the same time.
Fix - The item "Tattered fairy wings" fails to emit yellow light.
Fix - Demon altar spawns in the dungeon.
Fix - Water fails to flow when the player opens the door.
Fix - Incorrect image appears for the 'Alchemy Station'.
Fix - The Phoenix Blaster weapon can be auto-fire.
Fix - The selling price of the item 'Arctic Diving Gear' appears to be incorrect.
Fix - The player is teleported into golem temple before defeating plantera.
Fix - Projectiles are fired from the item 'north pole' automatically when the game starts.
Fix - Confetti Wall and Midnight Confetti Wall fails to function as intended.
Fix - Pet mini minotaur fails to summon by using the item 'Tartar Sauce'
Fix - Game crashes on using the item North Pole.
Fix - Beenade works in PvP mode.
Fix - Pets fail to summon on using following items.
Fix - The item possessed hatchet fails to hover round the player's death point.
Fix - The item "Jack 'O Lantern Launcher" flips downwards when it is pointed vertically 90 degrees upward.
Fix - Player fails to use the potions placed in the inventory bar.
Fix - Game name 'Terraria' appears to be misaligned in main menu.
Fix - NPC guide named 'Andrew' fails to drop the item 'Green cap' upon death.
Fix - The item "Horn 'o' Plenty" fails to function as intended.
Fix - iOS - The game crashed upon opening the inventory (Note- upon rebooting, it was discovered that the cloud world was nowhere to be found.)
Fix - Player fails to get 'Bait' as a reward while using any Crates.
Fix - Player is unable to place 'Platinum Candle' over 'Table' and 'Work Benches’.
Fix – A number of random Game Crash issues have been addressed with this update
Fix - Game crashes as the Merchant icon appears inside the house.
Fix - The player is unable to access the cloud characters and world.
Fix - Game crashes on accessing mini map.
Fix - NPC guide named 'Andrew' fails to drop the item 'Green cap' upon death.
Fix - Text 'Yes' overlaps on the 'Auto Equip’ option.WINDOWS PHONE (Released last week)

  • Win10 based devices should now work
  • Support for devices with less than 1GB of RAM returned – HOWEVER, please note that stable performance cannot be guaranteed for these devices. We felt it was better to give you the chance to play a potentially unstable game rather than have no chance to play it at all.

AMAZON
  • Support for all Non-Amazon devices added – please note that you still must meet the minimum RAM (1GB) and OS (Ice Cream Sandwich OS 4.0.2 or above) requirements for your device to work.

Please if you put the 1.3 version in ios make that all cellphones and ios devises hantle it take your time but please not to much

It's bad when u try to beat a boss on iPhone u can't even see your the boos when he's moving. The screen is SOO small

I finally beat fishron ( he's a pain on mobile having a smaller screen). Vampire knifes and evasion for the win.. got real lucky with the bubble gun dropping first. Bubble gun + spectre gear = game over.. you don't even have to move is op af. Maybe a little nerf would hurt. ~:confused:

I keep getting damage cancelling and it's really annoying.

I believe they've removed Damage Cancelling where you can get hit by a slime, and not take damage from a boss, or something more powerful, however, not the other way around.

I never seem to be able to hit an enemy when I have a pet Werewolf or a summon that constantly hits an enemy. For Instance, there's an Ice Golem standing in front of like a 7 block wall, and it can't get over, and my Werewolf is standing on the same tile as the Ice Golem. As long as my werewolf is there, doing 1 damage per hit, 2-3 hits a second, I will never be able to do my damage, which is like 50-70. >_> This specific scenario actually happened.
