Mobile Cant get turtle shell

I have killed over 100 turtoises so far and haven’t got one yet considering the drop rate i should have got at least 5, does anyone know what is happening?

Possibillity A: You are killing ice tortioses and not giant (jungle) ones
Possiblillity B: Bad luck
Possibillity C: A glitch

Setup a lava pit above you in the jungle and afk it. I did this and had loads when I came back. Spawn a few minions to take care of the snatchers and such.

I’m having the same problem. My guess is that it’s just bad luck.
