So, I'm playing with alot of modded NPCs and they always auto pick the houses, I decided to just leave the game so they could pick the houses themselves.

Long story short that didn't work because they stopped picking and if there was a mod that made them pick more and faster, could anyone link it?
 
I think town NPCs will pick a room anyway to move in, if you don't assign one for them.

What I heard though is, that normally, the housing menu only can handle like 50 town NPCs or something, so you can't assign the other NPCs on your own - however they would move in somewhere anyway.

But, it looks like (at least it works for me that way) that Census mod allows to have and normally assign even more town NPCs than just 50. so try out that one.

This is probably not a suggestion though, so probably not belong here?
