**REPORTED** Localization not working properly with Custom "Terraria:___" Names

Steam or GOG
Steam
Single Player/Multiplayer
Both
Operating System
Windows 10
Terraria Version
1.4.2
Controls Used
Keyboard/Mouse
I've tried changing some of the names so they reference the authors of my texture pack, and it didn't seem to function.

After seeing the names I changed appear, I guessed I was either doing something wrong, or this didn't work.

I did exactly as the JSON "tutorial" said, but I couldn't get it working.

Thanks for bringing this here, it'll make it more easy for me to look into.

I'll ask Yoraiz0r about this when he's working!

EDIT: I have reproduced this, but I have to find out if its intentional or not. The splash text loads extremely early in the game's process, it may come before language packs do.

Wait what?

Could you provide a screenshot of that happening? That should not be the case.

Oh, I mean, sure. I don't know if I explained it right, it generates one and then rerolls it, making it be able to have a second name. I don't think I explained myself in the first message. 😛

Yeah, unfortunately, due to the way resource packs load "later" in the loading process, they can't change the INITIAL load name. But they do replace it shortly during the process. That appeared to be the only solution, making resource packs load prior to that in the loading process would have been a huge change with tons of consequences.
