10th Anniversary A Journey of 10 Years - Contest Entry Thread

I'll submit an entry for the "Other" category (I think this fits within the rules). In the 8 or so years I've played Terraria, this is my favorite thing that I've done by far, and I think it visually explains how I envision the game/what it means to me. Since questions of proof usually come up with stuff like this I'll proactively say that the successful 8 hour long unedited version is in the description of the video on youtube.

Steam Workshop - Texture Pack:
This is the Wall of Guide, which replaces the Wall of Flesh and all related content (including text).

This is my submission to the contest, for the screenshot category!

This marks my first attempt at pixel art, my birthday and the (post) tenth anniversary of one of my favorite games, terraria.
nearly 9 years, countless hours, building, fighting, exploring.. Its been a wild ride. So I built this to commemorate the developers and the game, parts of it show where we've come from and where we are, and it is surrounded by the developers of the game (I couldn't find all of your avatars so I used bases).
Hopefully you can sit and look at this for a bit, it's pretty meaningful both to me and I hope to you, (in case it wasn't clear it's a yin yang)

I put about a weeks worth of work into this build just for this contest, hopefully I stand out to you all.. Winning this contest would mean more than the world to me so please, consider me.
Post to prove originality.

This is how I envision terraria.

I know my build is probably going to be overshadowed but I tried my hardest and my heart is in the right
place I believe.
Thanks for the chance.

My entry for Steam Workshop - World category, Bossfight Practice Arenas. It is made for both beginners and veteran terrarians who want to practice bossfights alone or with their friends. This map includes 7 different arenas for each in-game progression (from Pre-Bosses to Post-Moonlord) and loadouts with tons of weapons, armors, and accessories for every classes.

Hello! I would like to submit this piece under Artwork!
Terraria was the driving force of what brought me and my friend group together and helped keep us stay connected and social during Quarantine. To show my appreciation to them, I created characters for my friends based on our past playthroughs and put them together in a piece. I hope it suffices! it features a bit of modded content as well <3

I built a fully working RISC computer!

It is 4-bits with 8 possible operations and 8 registers. It is a modified RISC computer to allow for simplicity and ease of building but its still super cool!

(Entering into other category)

Happy 10 year anniversary people! Although I have got Terraria at Journey's End update I have managed to hit 400 hours playtime. Quite an addicting game, haha!
My entry is for Screenshot category:

Obsidian Champion
20210601151607_1.jpg

This project took over 50 hours. The gigantic golem statue and the marble/obsidian city. It's over 200 000 blocks placed!

The Obsidian Golem is about 600 blocks tall. I have used various blocks like obsidian bricks, smooth granite, shroomite bricks and marble to add diversity in its colorisation, some blocks are painted for a greater effect. It is a creature from my favourite game, Grim Dawn! Also, the crest above its head is a logo of Grim Dawn makers' next game, Farthest Frontier.

Marble city is mostly white with gold and blue accents, blocky in it's architecture.

Obsidian city is black, red and blue colors mostly. It is more chaotic in its shapes and jagged.

I hope this isn't too much screenshots. This project is so huge I cannot cover it on one picture!

Golem's height. I play the Polish version so Podziemia is Underground and Powierzchnia is Surface. Over 1000 in game height!
