Intro

Summoner, unlike the other classes, is a horribly unpolished mess with 3 useless stats (crit%, speed, and mana cost) and don't even have their own modifiers! This mod aims to give Summoner a level of polish comparable to the other classes. Summoner's Shine allows minion speed and crit to be modified, improves general minion tracking, adds a new prefixable stat (and corresponding prefixes) unique to Summon weapons, as well as add summoning and despawning animations for all minions.

Features

= Minions and Sentries now benefit from attack speed and critical strike modifiers
= Minions will now accelerate quickly to match their target's movement. Minions are accelerated to match the target's velocity according to how aligned their general velocities are.
=All minions have aimbot and benefit from Conservation of Momentum
= Minions, Whips, and Sentries now use Summoner-exclusive modifiers! These modifiers affect either an Active Ability or a Passive Special Ability.
= Minions have unique summoning and despawning animations!
= Bloodtaint Mode! Enable in configs

Pygmy StaffPress right click to summon a floating island with a Tree of Life!
Trees of Life periodically spawns Golden Fruits which heal you for [base 15 (doubles in Expert, triples in Master)] health!
Pygmies will automatically teleport to the floating island closest to their target
Special Ability requires 5 seconds to charge and recharge

Deadly Sphere StaffWhen a Deadly Sphere hits an enemy or projectile, it may launch a Deadly Instrument at the strongest enemy
Press right click for your Deadly Spheres to additionally launch Deadly Instruments at all nearby enemies!
Deadly Instruments deal [base 75]% of the Deadly Sphere's damage
Special Ability requires 10 seconds to charge and recharge

Spooky Pillars cast a [base 5] block radius Shadowraze on enemies within a specific range
Different-distance Shadowrazes have separate cooldowns

Hostile projectiles in contact with the Martian Shield creates a damaging Chain Lightning which empowers your saucers!

Default Special Abilities

Everything, including Modded weapons, without Custom Handcrafted Special Abilities, will default to using one of these. They scale with prefix minion power stats in an additive manner.

Bloodtaint Mode

The blood moon rises red. Your blood is tainted by the vile moon, subverting the link to your minions.
Your strength fades away, your minions trudge on, lethargic under the eldritch glare of the Lunar Eye.
Yet you have naught but a whip. With every strike, your minions are rallied. With every laceration of your enemies' flesh, your minions are rejuvenated.
How far can you go while cursed the taint of the bloody moon?

All custom special abilities disabled
All other classes disabled
Minions are 4x slower
Minions have an outgoing damage modifier of 50%
Whipping an enemy has a high chance to cause minions to instantly attack
Daytime is much shorter unless facing a boss or event
Start with Leather Whip, Vampire Frog Staff, and 20 Crimson Torches

Best played with Summoner's Shine as the only mod enabled. Does not give modded minions instastrike - do it yourself at your own risk!

= Minions will now accelerate quickly to match their target's movement. When fleeing, the player's velocity is directly added to the minion's velocity, causing minions to return much faster and to be a far superior damage source when fleeing or against fast enemies in general.
=Tikis are much better at actually hitting a fast-moving target. Hornet, Imps, Sharknadoes, and Retinamini just get Aimbot, courtesy of conservation of momentum.
= Minions, Whips, and Sentries now use Summoner-exclusive modifiers!
= Minions have unique summoning and despawning animations!

Remphanic - derived from Remphan, a false idol mentioned in the New Testament

Benzona - what Israeli players will say when they get the Benzona prefix on a naturally spawned item before they have a Goblin Tinkerer

Inundate - a fancy word for "infuse" and "overload"

Oh, okay.
Since you had written it as "induinate" however, I had no idea what it was supposed to be. DuckDuckGo suggested it was a typo for "inquinate", which while a certainly interesting obscure word, didn't seem to fit in context.

Since summoners are about having an army of minions to do their bidding, perhaps good prefixes could be words like charismatic, inspiring, bolstering, galvanizing, motivating, energizing, popular... And bad prefixes could be stinking, uninspiring, boring, ostracized, rejected, outcast...

Who ever heard of a "Skillful Broadsword"? It makes as little sense as, say, an "Inspiring Finch Staff"

I purposefully themed all summoner prefixes around faith, given that Summoner items are mostly Animist and Pagan implements (Necromantic Scroll/Papyrus Scarab/Tiki/Spider/Bee/Pygmy Necklace), a Heresy-associated item (Bewitching Table) plus Hallowed Hood (Christianity, presumably, given its theme - while Summoner does not have Cobalt/Mythril/Adamantite armor), Summoner Emblem, and Flinx Fur Coat. Witch Doctor also seem to be the dedicated Summoner NPC, and Witch Doctors are religious figures. Hence, faith seem to be the theme around Summoner.

(except for Benzona, of course)

ik its been a while, but the mod isnt on the workshop anymore or something, can you fix that?
 
Does anyone have the source for his mod? I should have extracted it in tML before it was erased...

Regardless of his ideology, there is no crime in this work. It would be a great shame to see this highly complete and wonderful mod disappear from the world

I think? If this isn't usable it should be transferable over discord(?) assuming this would even work.
I did have to change the file name from .tmod to .txt to upload it.

Oh, very helpful.
Because this is the best mod to improve and expand the minion system.
It's a real shame that the author went that way.
