No spikes on the walls themselves? The house isn't made of spikes? What kind of a casual ARE you?

As long as it keeps the bad stuff away, then by all means, place all you need to place.

House made of spikes is too uh...painful and...weak.

I actually had a zombie horde run in about 20 seconds after that screenshot. It hit night time, so they were running. It held them off pretty good, but the defence crumbles in some areas. Need to maintain a healthy balance of repairing the walls and attacking.

Clearly you're just not putting up enough spikes.
