They were designed almost on the same time window, but cultists were designed a bit earlier than my armor. We had a lot of different options, so the final cultist design wasn't defined before I did my set (although it existed among the options). It's safe to say that designs on both are independent.

An addtional question, is the name of Lunatic Cultist on purpose? Because I found the "Lunatic" also means "mentally ill" recently.
