Not every game needs to be a CPU/GPU-intensive hog that requires a $3000 rig to run at 60FPS, lol. In fact, that's why indie games are so awesome. Many of them (unless you're talking about Starbound....) can be run on 5 year old machines at 60FPS.

Unfortunately, that's not true. At least, not for my computer.
It's about four years old now and can't even run Star Wars Battlefront 2 at 60 fps consistently, sometimes not even at 30.
Only two games I can get a good consistent framerate are Freestyle GunZ (that Korean TPS) and osu!.

Star Wars: Battlefront is hardly an indie game. It's made by DICE, lol. When I say "Indie", I'm talking stuff like Terraria, Undertale, Shovel Knight, etc.

I know. But I can't run Terraria well at all either, I get pretty much consistent 1 FPS on one map.
But still, it's a game that came out a decade ago.

Well, 4-5 year old laptops... yeah. lol. One of the reasons why I'd never use a laptop for gaming lol.

I've been saving up for over a year for a desktop but still can't afford it yet...

*nods* It's about $800-900 to make a good one (tower only) that should last 4-5 years.
