If I recall, Undertale seemed to become very popular here around the time you left, though it may've been even earlier than that. Other than that, some drama here and there, but otherwise the same TCF it has always been.

There is a Military/Government science experiment that leaked out that turned many humans on here into Nekos. There seems to be no way to turn them back.

Probably because they plot in the shadows to bring a Coup detat to the entirety of the Internet. Turning all Humans, Aliens, Demons, Angels, Vocaloids, and other species into Nekos and making them embrace the New Neko Order.
