    Yeah, I used to plat the xbox version and I didn't protect anything from the Crimson, It got out of hand and ate half my jungle. I used sticky dynamite to protect it. I also know that the demon altars can place a block of corruption/hallow too. This one is near my jungle, which is why I did this.

    OMG same thing happened to me!!! But I was looking FOR the meteor, and then I went to go battle the EoW for demonite for money, and I was all like, "OML WTH SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?" I hate RNG sometimes. :(

    Why is a meteor landing in a corruption chasm bad? Just mine away all the meteorite using sticky bombs, then the meteor heads won't bother you.

    Also RNG can be like that sometimes. One time I got 3 poison staffs in a row and one of them was mythical.

    It is just a very unlikely thing to see, I looked through my whole world to find it, then I went to go destroy a shadow orb and saw it >.> Not what I was expecting...
