1st) Haunter (so many good choices, but Haunter is my favorite of all time)
2nd) Furrett (meh. The cool ones here got cooler in 4th gen)
3rd) Absol (so many good choices here)
4th) Honchkrow (all the cool 2nd gens evolved here)
5th) Reuniclus (so many good choices here)
6th) Gourgest, Tyrantrum, or Doublade (three-way-tie; love this gen's simplicity and uniqueness)

My favourite legendaries for each gen are Articuno, Suicune, Groudon, Palkia, Reshiram and Xerneas but no one cares about that
