To answer my own question, I would gladly do so. An ageless corrupted revenant with enhanced bodily condition and all sorts of freaky awesome powers. What's there not to love?

Yes, and I think part of our reasonings has to do with self projection. There's lots of interesting articles about self project manifesting in the Internet. A lot of our OCs subconsciously obtain aspects we very much wish we could have ourselves.
