How would YOU work monster drops, without using RNG?

And its more how focused on rare drop chances the game becomes as you progress rather then the RNG as a whole.

Rare drops should be a focus of late game in any game. If you can complete it with bog-ordinary mid- or early-game equipment, then there's no point having late-game equipment. You want the good stuff, be prepared to grind for a while.

I've played several games without RNG, those games were ones you didn't need to kill things for drops.

I personally love RNG
