Reasons why it's an idea to back up the backups. Like... through having the thing backed up on an external device like an external hard drive OR flash drive in addition to what Terraria already has.
That's not right. The saves shouldn't be corrupted in the first place, and the game's backup mechanics have to be reliable. Not once I could ever recover a world from a backup. If the developers can't provide a stable gaming experience, I'm requesting a full refund.
Problem is this sort of thing you're experiencing isn't exactly common. So... your argument on them not being able to provide a stable gaming experience isn't valid.
