You have been though. Notified that in one week the social group will be removed. According to the announcement that was made over a year ago, the social forum rules had been changed and any social group that was inactive for more than a year is subject to removal.

Jackal gave us a couple months. A week to shift this volume of stuff is pretty

The months given with Jeckel's announcement was because it was an entirely new project with new social group rules that the community needed to be aware of. The social groups that will be removed have been inactive for over a year. The week given until closure was not the only time that content could have been saved.

Hold on, Lone Tree hasn't even been inactive for 'over a year'. It last got a post on May 8th.
