I have a feeling that 1.3.6 is just a cover for a surprise the developers were preparing for us the past two years, like why would a small update take more than a year and a half to prepare? Especially that there aren't other big projects they're working on right now.
Of course since my feelings are always incorrect, I won't get my hopes up, but it's a nice thought nevertheless.

We know it isn't a small update, Cenx stated they're using this update to modify the stats and mechanics of a huge portion of previously unbalanced items.

In that case 1.4 would've been a better name for the update, unless the impact of the re-balancing doesn't turn out to be as big as we thought.
