If I were to give suggestions on mods, I would say to try something that hasn't been done yet. Maybe try something that changes the very way Terraria operates, and gives out fun things that no other mod has ever given before.

Yeah, I agree. There are so many generic content mods that it is easy for your mod to get buried in the swarm. Try to make something new and fun that has never been done before.
