Well what accessories do you have in mind?

I was thinking about a shiny stone or a Anki sheild

Well Ankh shields remove enemy knockback, which is pretty useful.
But random question.
Are you in expert mode?

Have you tried to look at all the accessories in the Terraria Wiki, and deciding on which seem like a good option?

Hm.

Alright, an endgame mage should have:
-Celestial Shell, it boosts def and regen quite a lot, which is what you are looking for.
-Wings are debatable, but one with hovering such as Vortex Boosters or Nebula Mantle is my preference.
-Magic Cuffs (but not Celestial Cuffs!), because they can be useful for recovering mana.
-Celestial Emblem, because it boosts damage and allows you to get those mana stars much easier.

-Master Ninja Gear, because mages are quite fragile and the Black Belt effect helps with that quite a lot.
All of these should have the Arcane modifier, pressing J can autouse mana potions just as well as a mana flower can.
If you have trouble using the quick mana key, swapping out the magic cuffs for a mana flower is an option.

And is a shiny stone good?

All of the above items are on mobile now that 1.3 is out. The shiny stone is good for things like exploration, but awful for bosses.

Nebula Armor actually is better than specter armor, but it's a bit difficult to get
