Baby Derplings resemble Derpfish in that their eyes are even more proportionally massive than the adults.

Since Derplings are basically big bugs, I assumed the infants would be Larva-like

Understandable. And they look so cuteeeeeee!

That's understandable, but you should remember that they are descended from Dragons, whose young are basically smaller versions of themselves.

Those little (I was about to call the babies "Derplings" but erm...) Derpies can be such a pain, they just jump everywhere and they can jump high.
